Join artist, Alexis Noelle, for two evenings of watercolor painting instruction. In this technique-focused workshop we will learn to use watercolor to depict a forest ablaze with fall colors. Over the span of two sessions, we will practice using cool colors to create depth in a warm landscape, and pick up three must-know techniques that every watercolorist needs to learn.
Note: This is a two-week class that meets from 6-8pm on Wednesday, Oct 25 and Wednesday, Nov 1. Buying a ticket gets you access to both nights. The second night will build on the skills taught during the first night, so attending both nights is recommended.
This class is recommended for artists with some basic watercolor knowledge. Wear clothes you can dirty.
Here is what you get:
- Personal Workspace: Set up with brushes, watercolor paper, and a palette of professional grade watercolor paints.
- A small group of 6: With limited class sizes there is plenty of time to get all of your questions answered, and opportunity to make new friends!
- Multiple paintings: Over our 2 hour sessions we will alternate between two or three paintings to allow time for our work to dry between layers, and to provide opportunities to experiment.
- Complimentary Tea: AKA cozy creative fuel ;-)
