The finalists from each opening round will come back on the 25th to showcase a full 45 minute set and compete for the grand prize!
We’re excited to announce that The Stray: Battle of the Bands will be returning in 2023 for “Season II”. The competition will span four nights, taking place every Saturday in March and will feature fifteen artists. Each Saturday night, 5 bands will compete to make it to the finals on March 25 where they can showcase their full-length set. Finalists will be determined based on popular vote and the vote of a guest judge. Local music industry professionals Yolonda Lavender, John Sinkevics, Shelby Schneider, and Robby Fischer have been invited as guest judges based on their extensive experience and contributions to the local music scene. Cash prizes will be awarded to all competing bands, with larger prizes given to the three finalists. Additional giveaways currently include a free 30 minute consultation with Soul Artisty LLC for all three finalists and a photoshoot for finalists (provided by The Stray on the night of The Finals).
