"Ending homelessness, one family at a time." Family Promise of Grand Rapids provides emergency shelter and basic needs to families with kids experiencing homelessness. Family Promise helps families find a place to call home and walks along-side families to promote long-term sustainability!
Melissa Dylan is a singer-songwriter from Grand Rapids, MI, and has been performing throughout Michigan for the last 16+ years. Her style has been described as heartfelt pop-rock with a little bit of snark. Melissa has performed in multiple original and cover bands, most notably Romance for Ransom and The Electric Red; she is a also frequent fill-in for friends in the music community and hosts multiple open mics. Melissa’s favorite thing ever is to build relationships and community with fellow players and will be releasing her third solo single, Stranger, late 2021/early 2022.
The Stray is a comfortable coffee-shop environment where guests can enjoy artisan foods, espresso, and pastries all while they take in the sights and sounds of an eclectic rotation of both local visual artists and live music.
While we’re typically closed on Sundays, we’ll be open for this exciting event! We will be serving our full specialty coffee, beer, and wine menu, as well as our evening food menu which includes a variety of artisanal flatbreads, nachos, hummus platters, and more!
100% of Ticket Proceeds will go to Family Promise of GR! Tickets start at $15 a piece; donate what you can. Doors 1:00pm, Music 1:30pm. All-Ages welcome.
