The St. Sinner Orchestra brings together the energy of rock, pop, and jazz with the lush sound of strings. Hailing from Grand Rapids, MI, the group features a dozen string players, drums, bass, and Greg Scheer on vocals and guitar. Their original songs feature catchy melodies, driving harmonies, and extended string sections. The music explodes with color while the lyrics balance soul-searching and levity. Their cover songs draw from the Beatles, Electric Light Orchestra, Green Day and other string-forward pop hits.
The group is led by award-winning songwriter, Greg Scheer. He is joined by a stellar cast of musicians who have performed with Vince Gill, Grand Rapids Symphony, and Patty Pershayla. The St. Sinner Orchestra’s performances have included diverse venues such as Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts and a string of sold out shows at listening rooms.

Always one to ask existential questions, Greg Scheer faced them anew when divorce took the hypothetical and made it reality.
